A DAY WORKSHOP ON: ENLIGHTENING WOMEN TRADERS ON ESTABLISHING COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES

Annuriyya Islamic foundation is an organization which was established on the 19th of November, 2010 by the students of Nurul-Islam (M.S.M.S.) 1,2,3quarters Minna, Niger State.

The foundation was established to empower people as one of its objectives, so that they can sustain themselves and become self reliant.

The aim of the workshop was to enlightened women traders on the needs of establish cooperative societies which is in accordance with one of the cardinal objectives upon which the foundation was founded.

The workshop held on Sunday,10th of Jumada ula, 1439AH, which is equivalent to 28th January, 2018 at Nurul-Islam (M.S.M.S.) 1, 2, 3 quarters BulusDauda Street, Opposite State Library Minna, Niger State.

The event which was presided over by the Director of the School,Shaikh Muhammad Adam Bosso, had a paper presentation on the theme: (Enlightening Women Traders on Establishing Cooperative Societies)with Mr. Sa’eeduGarba as the resource person.

The event recorded a large turn out with about one thousand women in attendance under the aegis of three cooperative societies. The table below shows the cooperative societies and their executive members
